Terms and Conditions

 

SINGERS

There are no formal requirements for the main chorus, though singers will be expected to have substantial choral experience, be able to hold a vocal line on their own, and to enjoy a reasonable level of sight-singing. It is also expected that participants will have a working knowledge of the main work.

Young people aged 15—17, who are competent singers, are welcome to join all, or part, of the musical activities with the main course. People in this age group must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

For 2027 we are offering a limited number of free course places for Under 27s (6 male and 6 female voices) on a first come first served basis and subject to these terms and conditions.  ​

All singers are responsible for organising and paying for their own accommodation and travel costs.

Transport from Munich to Berwang and back will be organised if there is sufficient demand but all costs must be covered by those using this service.

COURSE CHARGES

For 2027 the full course fee will be  £475.

All payments must be made in GBP by bank transfer.

Credit card payments will only be accepted on the payment of an additional £10 administration fee. Please note we do not accept American Express.

There is an early bird discount which reduces the course fee to £425 if the fee is paid in full by November 15th 2026.

You can secure a place on the course by paying a non-refundable deposit of £100 at the time of booking.

​​​​​​CANCELLATION BY BERWANG MUSIC

The organisers reserve the right to cancel the course due to circumstances beyond their control, in which case due notice will be given, and any fees, including the initial payment of £100, will be refunded in full.​

 

CANCELLATION BY PARTICIPANTS

Berwang Music must be notified in writing of all cancellations. If you decide to cancel after confirmation of your booking has been sent cancellation charges will apply as set out in the table.

LIABILITY & INSURANCE

The organisers do not accept any responsibility for any injury, death, accident, illness or loss (including loss of possessions or enjoyment) damage or expense, cost or other sum or claim sustained by participants or third parties travelling to/from the course or during the course itself.

Participants are required to take out appropriate insurance cover to cover these risks from the date of acceptance on the course until the date of return from the course and to notify Berwang Music of their policy details. In the event of cancellation by you, you will be issued with a cancellation invoice to send to your insurance company.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

Participants may be recorded or photographed by Berwang Music school staff and these images/recordings may be used by us in our promotional and publicity material, including online. By submitting an application, you are giving your consent for any such images or recordings to be used freely and without payment.

 

AMENDMENTS

Please note: Whilst endeavouring to present the music course as advertised, the organisers reserve the right to amend the timetable and repertoire as necessary.

 

 

Privacy Policy

Your contact details will only be shared between the course director, administrator and other members of the staff, if necessary, for the smooth running of the course. If you wish your details to be shared via the WhatsApp Group, which we use for disseminating information during the course, you will be asked to give your explicit consent.
