Samantha Rowe
Soprano Section Leader
Born and raised in Cornwall, Samantha Rowe is a professional soprano, flautist and piccolo player who moved to London in 2019 to train at the Royal College of Music (MA Distinction) and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (BA First-Class Honours).
Samantha has performed as soprano soloist in works including Fauré’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah and the UK premiere of Dan Forrest’s Creation. She has sung roles including Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Euridice (Orfeo ed Euridice), and a multitude of works by Gilbert and Sullivan. She made her solo debut at Birmingham Symphony Hall in 2022 and continues to develop a broad career in opera, recital, and oratorio under the tutorship of Alison Wells.
Passionate about making music inclusive for all, Samantha delivers outreach in schools and carehomes, and is an enthusiastic music educator and charity concert organiser.
