Terms and Conditions:
SINGERS
There are no formal requirements for the main chorus, though singers will be expected to have had substantial choral experience, be able to hold a vocal line on their own, and to enjoy a reasonable level of sight-singing.
Singers may apply to join the Vocal Ensemble at the same time as making a general application to Berwang ’26. Those selected for this group (which will have a maximum of approximately 16–20 singers) will be expected to be strong sight-readers and must supply a written resumé of their choral experience and an undertaking to prepare the repertoire in advance of the course; this will enable rehearsals to be about musical interpretation, rather than note-learning from the outset.
Young people aged 15–17, who are competent singers, are welcome to join all, or part, of the musical activities with the main course. People in this age group must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
COURSE CHARGES
Please pay the non-refundable deposit of £50 or the full fee when booking.
The following table of discounts apply:

The final date for paying the non-refundable balance is 31 May 2026.
The organisers reserve the right to cancel the course owing to circumstances beyond their control, in which case due notice will be given, and any fees, including the initial payment of £50, will be refunded.
INSURANCE
The organisers will not accept any responsibility for injury, accident, illness or loss sustained by members or third parties travelling to/from the course or during the course itself.
Participants are required to take out appropriate health insurance cover from the date of acceptance on the course until the date of return from the course. It is also strongly recommended that your insurance policy covers circumstances that prevent participation or attendance on the course. In the event of cancellation you will be issued with a cancellation invoice to send to your insurance company.
Please note: Whilst endeavouring to present the music course as advertised, the organisers reserve the right to amend the timetable and repertoire as necessary.
